I was walking on campus on Monday, enjoying some alone time when I looked towards my right while crossing the bridge and noticed a student laying down under a tree. It was a very peaceful moment, it was around 5 PM and the shadows created by the sun light crashing into the trees began to grow ever so slightly each minute as a stood there and finally realized this was a great time to take a picture.
Looking at this picture now after a few days I am reminded of Tuesday's class when when we were putting the little sheets of metal in the lights to give different textures. I think that the beauty of lighting design is that we are controlling our own little sun with just the push of a few keys
Very nice post. Great tie of emotion to what is going on in the lighting. The metal is called a Gobo, Template, or Pattern :)
